Did this with Chimchar in my childhood copy of Pokemon Diamond. I had Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Swords Dance and Close Combat as my final moveset. The elemental punchs were egg moves from a Medicham I caught. I would really suggest doing an Empoleon run, that one is also a lot of fun.

Not just that, I've seen a decent amount of other videos as well--but I wanted to say that you have a true talent for entertainment, one I wish I was capable of achieving. if anyone sees this comment after four years i have a tip: Grass knot deals more damage if the enemy is heavy, infernape has a pretty good special attack, therefore grass knot completely cheeses Berthas entire team (almost)

While FF has alright music, it has some really good tracks, like the BB trio theme is really great. Also not to mention in the sequel game Fossil Fighters Champions, not only did they up the gameplay, and story, they also upped the quality of the music. FFC has a ton of really great tracks.

ik I'm 2 yrs late lol but u could use grass knot instead of solarbeam and rock slide instead of earthquake. Grass knot cuz most of the ground types are heavy and it's pretty good against water types too. I had an infernape which had more phy atk than spe atk. So i gave him flare blitz, rock slide, close combat and lastly grass knot. I let him hold a shell bell to recover recoil dmg of flare blitz. Throughout my journey till the league, i got 6 total rare candies (Some of them hidden and so i used dowsing machine) still there were more but i used all wht i got before entering into the league. The only mons which were troublesome for me were Gyarados, Garchomp and Gliscor. Yep, the 3Gs were the bane in my one mon playthrough. Other than that i never lost to anyone in the game except for that damn gliscor during the elite four
